Dino Cat Carrier
The Dino Cat Carrier: a bed, a carrier and a hideaway all in one!
The Dino Cat Carrier is a multi-use carrier that makes even the most stressed cats feel like a trip to the vet is a vacation! The diversity of the carrier allows our feline friends to use the carrier as a bed when home, a hideaway when scared and a carrier when traveling. With the foldable sides, it allows the doctor to examine the pet, draw samples, take urine, check blood pressure and perform multiple other diagnostic treatments with ease. With the Dino Cat Carrier, a cat never has to be removed from the carrier, making their trips to the vet quick, easy and stress free!
Thank you for purchasing our Dino Cat Carrier. We hope you and your pet love it! If it was shipped to you, it arrived in a folded/compacted state. To help it regain its full shape, simply stuff it with a pillow or a few large towels and zip it up for a day or so before its first use.
This carrier is unique in that there's no reason for you to store it away. We encourage you to leave it out where your cat will feel comfortable making it 'theirs'. Whether it's fully folded out, or partially zipped closed, let it become your cat's special place. When your cat goes to the veterinarian, a bit of home comes along too, helping them feel safe and happy. Less stress for everyone!
To place your cat in the carrier, zip it up half way and put your cat in either head first or hind end first. Zip the carrier closed with bop zippers being at the bottom of the carrier side by side. This prevents your cat from opening the carrier.
Your cat has plenty of air and light, can see in all directions inside the carrier while feeling safe and hidden.
At the Vet:
The sides of the carrier fold outward to allow full access to the cat, making it easy to draw samples, check blood pressure, do complete exams, and even weigh the cat inside the carrier. Note: the carrier weighs 3 lbs., not including additional bedding.
The price of the carrier is $62.00 +tax.
We can ship inside the United States. Shipping is calculated by location.
The carrier is also available to veterinarians and retailers for whole sell price.
Online sales page coming very soon. Until then, please call our office at (770) 993-7887 for purchasing information.
Additional suggestions:
• Keep an easy-to-clean soft blanket, towel or pee pad inside the carrier.
• Keep it in a place where your cat feels comfortable and safe.
• If your cat hesitates to adopt to the carrier, try spraying it with Feliway®calming pheromone spray, or sprinkling some catnip in it.
• Avoid leaving the carrier in direct sunlight.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
The Dino Carrier is constructed of durable materials, and has been designed to provide years of service with proper use and care. The outside is a "faux" (synthetic) leather, the inside a water-repellant polyester fabric.
For normal soils: Use a soft cloth or sponge with mild dishwashing detergent and lukewarm (not hot) water, inside and out. Remove as much loose soil as possible prior to cleaning, and absorb as much of the residual detergent afterward as possible. For heavy soils and to neutralize odors, we recommend ONLY a solution of OxiClean™and water.
For tough stains and odors:
1. Use a tub or sink large enough to submerge the carrier. Remove the bottom pad for cleaning along with the carrier.
2. Follow the OxiClean™ directions to mix and fully dissolve a cool-water soaking solution.
3. Fully submerge the carrier and pad in the solution. Let the solution soak into the padding and fabric. Scrub gently with a sponge or soft cloth as needed. Let soak for 6-12 hours.
4. Drain the solution from the carrier and pad as much as possible. Fill the tub or sink with cool water, and soak the carrier and pad in it to rinse out any residual solution. It may be necessary to repeat this step, soaking 1-2 hours more in clean cool water to fully remove all solution and odor.
5. Let the carrier and pad air-dry.
PLEASE DON'T:
• Attempt to clean the carrier in a washing machine or dry in a dryer.
• Use any cleaners containing chlorine bleach or other harsh chemicals.
• Use any abrasive materials or cleaners.
• Use hot water or hot air to dry the carrier.
PLEASE DO:
• Line the bottom of the carrier with absborbent pads, towels, or blankets.
